Non face-to-face supports

“Non-face-to-face supports are those supports delivered by a provider to a participant that do not require direct interaction with the participant. They must be directly related to the participant’s support needs and part of delivering a funded support item.”

Examples of Non Face-to-Face Supports:

These vary depending on the type of service (therapy, behaviour support, occupational therapy), but common examples include:

  • Preparing reports or assessments
  • Developing behaviour support plans
  • Reviewing therapy progress and planning goals
  • Liaising with other stakeholders (support coordinators, schools, families, GPs plus others)
  • Analysing data (incident reports, therapy outcomes)
  • Designing therapy activities or programs
  • Researching assistive technology or strategies relevant to a participant’s needs
  • Consulting with team members for multi-disciplinary coordination

Cancellation Policy

We may charge the full agreed fee for a scheduled support if:

  • The client cancels a service with less than 2 clear business days’ notice
  • The participant fails to attend (no-show) the scheduled appointment without notice.

We also offer Supervision and Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) $232.99

Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) provide confidential, short-term counselling and practical support to help employees manage work and personal challenges—such as stress, burnout, anxiety, low mood, relationship issues, and critical incidents—so they can stay safe, well, and productive. At HandinHand Mental Health (HIH), our highly qualified practitioners (psychologists and allied health clinicians) deliver evidence-based, trauma-informed care tailored to your organisation, including rapid access sessions, manager consultations and coaching, critical-incident response, and proactive workshops on wellbeing, resilience, and psychologically safe workplaces. We offer flexible telehealth and onsite options, clear referral pathways for ongoing care when needed, and de-identified reporting to support your people strategy while protecting employee privacy.

Clinical Supervision provides a structured, reflective space for practitioners to build capability, safeguard clients, and maintain ethical, evidence-based practice. At HandinHand Mental Health (HIH), our senior psychologists and allied health supervisors offer individual, and group supervision aligned to AHPRA, AASW and BSPA/PBS capability frameworks—covering case formulation, risk and safeguarding, cultural safety, restrictive practices, documentation quality (NDIS/Medicare), and practitioner wellbeing. We use clear goals, feedback loops and practical tools (templates, checklists, competency maps) to translate learning into day-to-day practice, with telehealth or onsite options to suit teams across Queensland and nationally. The result is confident clinicians, stronger outcomes for participants, and reliable compliance with NDIS Practice Standards.
